Worker safety in the NHS
The mental health affect on frontline nurses struggling with the high levels of violence and abuse, and the effect on staff retention as they struggle with a return to work after taking time off for burn out. Session will touch on some of the stats around with some personal experiences/examples of what workers are exposed to.There are challenges, therefore, around encouraging new talent into HS healthcare - so Matt will look at issues around career development. Will also touch on the NHS guidance around HS which can be difficult to navigate.
