Your staff could be at risk of injury on your worksite. Blind corners, vehicle blind spots, concealed entrances, obstructions, poor visibility, and unexpected behaviours increase the risk of accidents and collisions between vehicles and staff. ZoneSafe proximity warning and alert safety technology creates a detection zone around vehicles so that dangers are detected (even when they can’t be seen), and collisions are avoided.
PROXIMITY SENSOR
ZoneSafe proximity sensors create an adjustable detection zone around the vehicle and detect all tags (worn by your workforce). Tags are detected through racking, around corners and behind doors, making ZoneSafe one of the safest
detection systems on the market.
DETECTION ZONE
With full 360-degree detection around the vehicle, tags are detected inside the adjustable detection zone and up to 10m away from the vehicle. Multiple proximity sensors can be added to create either one large zone or individual detection zones around the vehicle.
CONTROL UNIT
The in-cab control unit is located next to the driver, offering easy access. When the proximity sensor detects a tag, an audible and visual alarm from the control unit warns the driver that there is a pedestrian worker in close proximity to the vehicle.
RECHARGEABLE TAGS
ZoneSafe Tags are worn by pedestrian workers to make them detectable. There are two types of tags to choose from: standard tags and VibraTags. When a VibraTag is detected, the tag vibrates, pulsing to let the wearer know a vehicle is approaching.
CHARGING
Tag charging is easy with a range of chargers available, including the ZoneSafe 5 bay charger, a wireless charger or the ZoneSafe tag checker. Charging takes up to 2 hours per tag and lasts up to 3 months between charges.
DATA MANAGEMENT
All detections and further system information is stored in the Control Unit and uploaded to the cloud. Safety data, including GPS location, can be downloaded using ZoneSafe’s data management software to help increase safety throughout the site.
