Safety Compliance Manager for Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd, a public corporation owned by the Scottish Government, responsible for owning and managing ferries, ports, and harbours that provide vital ferry services in Scotland.
Primary responsibility focuses on the oversight and application of CDM 2015 Regulations for major and minor infrastructure projects on ports and harbours.
Prior to this post, I had 20 years’ experience working in aviation for a Part 145 Organisation. Held senior roles in different departments across this period, which included Engineering, Quality, Training and Health and Safety, often liaising with UK enforcing authorities, but also responsible for liaising with regulators across Europe, notable Germany, Spain, Poland, Lithuania and Ireland.
