Kevin Igwe is a Senior Building Safety Consultant with more than 12 years of experience delivering fire and structural safety solutions across high-risk residential, commercial, and complex building environments.

He specialises in the practical implementation of the Building Safety Act and the Golden Thread, helping organisations strengthen safety governance, improve accountability, and manage building safety information throughout the full building lifecycle.

Kevin has supported major organisations including RSK, Firntech, FRC, Savills, Riverside Housing Group, Southern Housing Group, and international partners across complex compliance and fire safety programmes. His work has included the development of Safety Case reports, fire risk governance frameworks, compartmentation strategies, and Golden Thread implementation across occupied and higher-risk buildings.

Holding the CIOB Level 6 Certificate in Building Safety Management, the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, the FDIS Fire Door Inspection Diploma, and the BRE Fire Stopping & Compartmentation Certificate, Kevin combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of the operational challenges facing the built environment sector.

He is recognised for translating legislation and regulatory expectations into workable, risk-based strategies that improve safety outcomes while supporting collaboration between clients, contractors, consultants, and dutyholders.
