Neil Doherty
A Director of Engineering at JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corporation company. He has over 28 years’ experience across product development, manufacturing engineering, and operations within the off-highway and access equipment sectors.
Neil has held senior engineering and operational roles at JLG and previously at Caterpillar, working across new product introduction, plant operations, and continuous improvement. His experience includes responsibility for multi-million-dollar R&D programmes, manufacturing process development, and the application of Lean and Six Sigma methods in regulated industrial environments.
His current role covers product development for low-level access and vertical lift equipment in EMEA, alongside close collaboration with manufacturing teams to address safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Neil holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.
