Sarah Longden
Sarah is a Human Factors Specialist with over 20 years' experience in the field of Human Factors (HF).
She was central to the team that developed the HSE's Safety Climate Tool, and has worked with a wide range of organisations across sectors carrying out safety culture reviews, including London 2012.
During her time at HSE, Sarah has worked on projects covering a range of issues including HF in dutyholders incident investigations, research into the assessment of mental workload in high hazard settings, case studies of fatigue assessment in the rail industry, stress in the workplace, and statistical support for analysis into accident statistics. Most recently Sarah has also been involved in net zero work exploring householders' attitudes to future fuel sources.
