Please be assured that the What Else Team are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our customers, visitors, staff and contractors. As such we are following an enhanced version of the Government Guidance and the All-Secure Standard for Events & Exhibitions.

This requires anyone accessing the exhibition site to have proof of either:

  • Full course of vaccinations – the second being at least 2 weeks previously
  • A negative lateral flow test – you can order these free from:
  • Proof of natural immunity which is a PCR positive test within the last 180 days but after the 10-day isolation period

If possible, this should be in the form of the domestic NHS Covid Pass available on the NHS app on any smart phone. Full checks will be in place.

Please ensure that you and your staff take personal responsibility by not attending the event if you feel unwell or should be self-isolating. If you foresee any problems with the above please do let us know and we will do what we can to help.

As event organisers registration is in place so our audiences are ‘known’ meaning that contact tracing is possible, if needed. We also undertake health and safety risk assessments for all events.

Face coverings

You must wear a face covering in line with UK law.

Air quality and ventilation

We work with the venue to provide the optimum amount of fresh air to all spaces to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

We support social distancing to ensure our visitors feel safe and comfortable from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay.

The venue capacity will not be exceeded.

Touch-free customer journeys

Human interaction is what we do but we understand that convenience is key and that many people will want to minimise unnecessary contact. We have taken advantage of tech solutions to provide contactless options. So, to minimise contact points when in our venue, visitors can pre-pay parking and use our cashless options for payment at all food and drink outlets.

There is a focus on hygiene and increased cleaning across the venue.

All cleaning regimes have been extended and all communal areas are cleaned frequently, and we are continuing to maintain the cleaning of high contact surfaces throughout event days along with deep cleans in all public areas.

Focus on hygiene

Good hygiene is one of the most effective way to protect from infection. There are clear reminders to our visitors on washing hands frequently and using the sanitiser stations that are available across the venue for use during their visit.
